How does a charging session work, what does a kWh cost and how does it appear on your invoice? This page has the answers, no small print.
Depending on the choices of your VvE it works slightly differently, but broadly it looks like this.
Depending on the choice of your VvE you confirm the charging session with a charge card, in the app, or via an email confirmation.
As soon as you plug in, you receive a start email with the prices and the green mix for the coming hours.
After you unplug, you receive a stop email with the price per quarter hour, the green mix and a full overview of the session.
At the end of the month you receive an invoice with all sessions of that month. It is included in the service cost billing of the following month.
The price you pay goes directly to the VvE, to cover the power costs of the charging site. In addition there is a small monthly fee for management.
The VvE chooses one of three settlement models for power procurement. Based on that choice we adjust the rates periodically. We always ensure the lowest possible price per kWh. What you pay for the power goes directly to the VvE to cover the power costs.
There is a fixed monthly fee for us and for the property manager. These are on the Pricing and For property managers pages. Both are sent as one total amount on one monthly invoice and paid to the VvE. We and the property manager then invoice the VvE for that same amount.
How you request a charge point depends on the choice the property manager has made. You request the charge point from us or from the property manager. The property manager communicates about this, so you know where to go.
Depending on the arrangements with the installer, you receive an invoice for the installation of your charge point.
If there are problems with your point that cannot be solved remotely, an installer chosen by the VvE comes by. That bill goes to the owner of the charge point.
Since the entry into force of the Dutch notification scheme for charge points, in principle any member may install a charge point without VvE approval. However, that is not desirable. The advice to boards and property managers is to stay ahead of this and arrange it centrally, so the charging site stays coherent and affordable.
All charging costs run through your own VvE. You never pay directly to us or to an external party.
When you plug in: the prices and the green mix for the coming hours.
When you unplug: price per quarter hour, green mix and the full overview of the session.
An invoice with all sessions of the month, included in the service costs of the following month.
You pay your own VvE, never directly to us or to an external party.
We offer the option to connect your charge point to a charge point operator of your employer's choice, for € 1.50 per month extra. This lets you set a sale price yourself in consultation with your employer. The purchase rates are set by the VvE and are fixed; they are separate from this connection.
You report it to your VvE property manager. We close your account and send a final settlement. The charge point stays with the home and can be transferred to the new owner.
Report it to us or to your property manager. Your VvE has service arrangements with an installer. Many malfunctions can be solved remotely; if not, the installer comes by.
Your charge point is usually fitted with an MID meter, the standard also used for commercial trade. We compare that measurement periodically with our own records and correct differences.
We work only with VvEs and are not a supplier of charge points either. For a charge point at a private home we are happy to refer you to a trusted installation partner.
Certainly. Discuss it with your board and suggest requesting a free quickscan. We then make clear what charge points would cost and yield for your VvE.
